Shellie Bowman
Fifth Grade Teacher
Shellie lives in the Pickerington area with her husband and son. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, writing, studying history and culture, and continuing to grow both personally and spiritually.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Arizona State University and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Instructional Design and Curriculum through Western Governors University. Shellie brings experience in teaching, lesson planning, classroom management, technology integration, and adapting instruction to meet each student's unique learning needs.
Shellie’s faith is at the heart of both her life and her approach to education. She believes that God uniquely creates every child, that each has a meaningful purpose, and that each deserves to be taught with patience, compassion, encouragement, and respect. She is committed to creating a safe, welcoming, and supportive classroom environment where students feel valued and are encouraged to grow academically, emotionally, and spiritually.
As a veteran, Shellie values service, perseverance, integrity, responsibility, and compassion. She believes education is about more than academic achievement; it is also an opportunity to help students develop strong character, confidence, wisdom, and a deeper understanding of how their God-given gifts can be used to serve others.
Shellie is grateful to serve as part of the Agape Life Christian Academy family and values the opportunity to teach in a Christ-centered environment. She is passionate about partnering with families, encouraging students in their faith, and helping each child recognize their worth, strengthen their abilities, and grow into the person God has called them to be.
