Kari Bayless
First Grade Teacher
Kari and her husband, David, have been married for nearly two years and recently welcomed their son, Charlie, into their family in October. They also share their home in Westerville with their mini Aussie, Buddy, who is shy but loves attention, and their independent cat, Kiki. In their spare time, they enjoy quiet family moments, and Kari especially loves reading and painting. They look forward to purchasing their first home in the coming years.
With a decade of teaching experience—nine of those years in Christian education—Kari brings a deep passion for both learning and faith to her classroom. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from Mount Vernon Nazarene University. Her teaching journey began with a long-term substitute position in a kindergarten classroom in the Mount Vernon City School District. From there, she spent nine wonderful years teaching first grade at Liberty Christian Academy.
Kari’s love for Christian education was nurtured through her home church and further strengthened by years of service in children’s ministry, including AWANA and nursery care from the time she was just eight years old. Her heart for helping children grow in both knowledge and faith is at the core of her calling. She is thrilled to be joining the Agape Life Christian Academy team and looks forward to partnering with families to provide a Christ-centered, well-rounded education for each of her students.
Kari’s experience, passion, and servant’s heart make her a true asset to the Agape community.
