Joanna Tabler

First Grade Teacher

Joanna Tabler brings more than 30 years of experience serving children, youth, and families through both education and ministry. Her heart for children and her commitment to Christ-centered service beautifully align with Agape Life Christian Academy’s mission to nurture students academically, spiritually, socially, and emotionally in an environment rooted in biblical truth and agape love.

Throughout her career, Joanna has served as a children’s pastor, Vacation Bible School leader, ministry director, and camp leader. She has helped build and manage a special-needs ministry and has led a summer camp for children and youth, serving more than 200 children each year. She has also gained valuable experience teaching elementary students through her work with LifeWise Academy, where she continued to encourage children in both learning and biblical truth. These experiences have strengthened her passion for meeting children where they are, helping them feel loved, valued, and supported as they grow.

An ordained minister, Joanna holds an Associate degree in Christian Ministry and a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies. Most recently, she served at Fairfield Christian Academy, where she taught Pre-K 3 and Pre-K 4 students with dedication, compassion, and a heart for early childhood development.

Joanna lives in Carroll with her husband and their two children. She currently attends Hands of Faith Church, where her husband serves as Associate Pastor and where she continues to serve faithfully in children’s ministry. Joanna’s lifelong passion for children, families, and ministry continues to shape every area of her work. She is excited to bring her experience, faith, and love for young learners to the Agape Life Christian Academy family as we partner with parents to help children grow in wisdom, character, and faith.
