Cheandrea Dayce
Second Grade Teacher
Cheandrea brings a heart for Christian education, a love for biblical truth, and a deep desire to help children grow both academically and spiritually. She moved to Pickerington with her two children to be closer to family. Originally from California, Cheandrea comes from a military family and has lived in many places, including Japan, Spain, and Virginia. These experiences have given her a broad perspective and a deep appreciation for people, culture, and community.
Cheandrea earned her Bachelor of Science in Applied Psychology with a minor in Biblical and Theological Studies from Biola University. She is passionate about education, biblical studies, and Christian apologetics, and she desires to help students see learning through the lens of God’s truth.
Coming from a long line of educators, Cheandrea has been teaching children for three years and has experience in early childhood education. She also has experience teaching the Abeka curriculum, where she values its strong academic foundation, structured phonics approach, and biblical worldview. Cheandrea loves being part of each child’s learning journey and considers it a joy to watch students grow in knowledge, confidence, and their love for God.
In addition to teaching, Cheandrea enjoys gardening, spending time with her family, and staying active through sports. She has also coached high school girls’ basketball, where she encouraged teamwork, discipline, and perseverance.
In the classroom, Cheandrea’s desire is for every student to feel welcomed, loved, and confident in their learning. She strives to create a Christ-centered environment where children are nurtured with patience, encouraged with grace, and reminded daily that they are deeply loved by God.
